If you are not sure if your plan includes chiropractic care, call your insurance company or visit the insurance company website to check your benefits.
If your particular insurance policy does not cover chiropractic care, or we are "out-of-network" our cash payments are very affordable. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, CareCredit and Discover for your convenience. A receipt will be given for those who wish to submit for reimbursement.
Do I need a referral from my primary physician?
Some insurance companies do require you to have a referral. When you call our office, we will obtain your insurance information and we can find that out for you. If you want to know before you call, simply call your insurance carrier and ask them if a referral is necessary to see a chiropractor.
Can a doctor of chiropractic help with conditions other than back pain?
Absolutely Yes! Chiropractors have been shown to help alleviate the symptoms of sinusitis, headaches, allergies, and childhood ear infections to name a few. There are many conditions that chiropractic care can help manage such as Asthma, MS, Parkinson’s disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. While a chiropractor can not cure these conditions, the treatments can greatly reduce symptoms.
Are You Handicapped Accessible?
Yes!
Our Center has street level entry with an adjacent parking lot.
We have specialized equipment such as the treatment table that comes to an upright position to accommodate ease of transfer.
-
Note:The restroom has grab bars but is not wheelchair accessible.
How often will I have to come in for treatment?
That depends on your condition and your compliance to the doctor’s exercise or other rehab recommendations. Most patients are seen one or two times a week for two weeks, then their visits are either increased or decreased depending on their response to treatment. Once the patient has reached maximum medical improvement, they are placed on an “as needed” treatment schedule

Why should I bring my young son/daughter to a chiropractor if their back is fine?
Does your child have to carry a heavy backpack to school? Or an instrument that is twice his size?
Children today are expected to carry an inordinate amount of weight on a daily basis. Additionally, children are very active and are subjected to falls, bumps and bruises. It is a good idea to have them examined by a doctor of chiropractic to make sure that their spine isn’t out of alignment.
A chiropractor can also perform a scoliosis assessment, which is required by many school districts. By having your child’s subluxations corrected throughout his or her childhood, they will have the opportunity to grow to be healthier adults.

Do you recommend any vitamins or supplements?
Jenkintown Chiropractic carries Metagenics, Designs for Health, Douglas Labs, Ortho Molecuar Products and Thorne brands of supplements for our patients needs. These pharmaceutical-grade brands provide the purest formulations without any unnecessary fillers or unsafe ingredients.
